We've been making several public announcements about our upcoming events at The Dojo of Karate. And, we know that it's difficult to remember all of these, so we will post them on our site, individually, with more information.
For now, though, this post will allow you to plan ahead of time.
- Saturday, October 5th - Fall Classic Inner School Karate Tournament. This is our bi-annual inner school Karate tournament that is ONLY for students of The Dojo of Karate. Whether you've participated in a tournament or not, this is EVERYONE'S opportunity to learn sportsmanship, confidence, perseverance, and the competitive spirit. Please make sure you mark your calendar for this exciting event!
- Saturday, October 19th, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Women's Self-Defense Seminar. This is our popular 6 hour, women self defense seminar that will take you through our entire Level 1 Empty Hand Self Defense program. Space is limited to ONLY 12 participants, so reserve your spot NOW!
- Friday, October 25th, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM - Open House / Child Safety Class. The Dojo of Karate will be hosting an Open House to celebrate their new location, and to help kids and families learn how to be safe during Halloween by teaching a Child Safety Class with Halloween / Trick-or-Treat tips. And, The Dojo of Karate will be putting on a Karate demonstration performed by our Black Belt Club students. Come support our students, and celebrate our 5th year of as a local business in Westminster, CO.
- Saturday, November 23rd (location TBA) - Holiday Banquet. Every year The Dojo of Karate hosts a Holiday Banquet & Award Ceremony for students and family members of The Dojo. This is our opportunity to get together as a community, eat great food, chat, and simply enjoy ourselves, while some students get recognized during our Award Banquet. And, this year, our Black Belt Club Demonstration Team will be putting on a finale show to close out the year.
Again, we ask that you please mark your calendars, so that you can come join The Dojo of Karate during all of these events and activities. We strive to keep our Karate school a community of families looking to grow through the martial arts.
