More Broomfield Boot Camp Testimonials
We’ve got more testimonials from our boot campers from getting amazing results.
The average amount of weight these ladies are losing is about 4 lbs in 4 weeks… the healthy way. However, we’ve had these ladies lose approximatelyy 2-4 inches on their waist, hips, and thighs by simply following our workout plan and nutrition program.
Those companies that say you can lose 20 pounds in 4 weeks… though it may be possible, your biggest concern should be whether it’s healthy…
Losing weight is great. It’s motivating, builds confidence, and makes you healthier. However, it’s not worth the cost of your future health.
So, when you’re looking for a fitness program that guarantees results, make sure it’s healthy.

Fitness Goals – Make it Specific
Like we said before, goal setting skills are quite difficult, however, if you can get Specific with your goal, it’s a start.
When you make a Specific goal, you have a better chance of actually achieving the goal. And, if you achieve your fitness goal, you’ve began to gain confidence and momentum to continue to move forward.
For instance, a common Specific goal is lose 10 pounds, trim 5 inches around my waist, get promoted to Director of Sales, or something along those lines.
However, you need to remember that Specific goals should have the 5 W’s too.
- What – What do I want to accomplish?
- Who – Who’s involved? Your husband? Boyfriend/Girlfriend? Family? Friends? This helps with accountability.
- Where – Are you going to join a gym? Or would you prefer to join a Fitness Program that holds you accountable?
- When – When are you wanting to achieve your goal?
- Why – Is it for a good reason? Make sure it’s what YOU want, not someone else.
Once you’ve made a Specific goal, you need to follow through with it. We suggest you contact The Dojo of Karate and get involved in their Fitness Boot Camp Program.
Their Boot Camp is designed to help you lose weight, get in shape, gain confidence, and give you more energy throughout the day.
More importantly, our Boot Camp is also accompanied with a nutrition program. We are the ONLY Fitness Boot Camp in Colorado that holds you accountable to what you put into your body because our motto is as followed:
You Can’t Out Train A Bad Diet
The Dojo of Karate offers Fitness Boot Camps for residences of Broomfield, Westminster, Thornton and Denver, Colorado

Setting Fitness Goals – The S.M.A.R.T. way
It’s 2010 and many of us have set some goals for the new year. Some are pretty lofty goals, while others are just designed to get the ball rolling – rather a short or mid term goal.
However, have you ever tried to set a S.M.A.R.T. goal?
I bet you haven’t. Seriously.
First of all, goal setting skills are very difficult to obtain. Mainly because we sometimes do not have an accountability system.
Well, The Dojo of Karate has a Fitness Boot Camp Program that is designed to not only help you meet your S.M.A.R.T. goals, but also hold you accountable.
Chief Fitness Instructor, Javier Lozano, Jr. has been training in the Martial Arts for 20 years, has won a World Title and Colorado State Title in fighting, helps others achieve their goals, and owns and operates a successful Martial Arts & Fitness school in Westminster — therefore he knows a thing or two about goal setting.
But, before we talk about our Fitness Boot Camps, we want to give you some S.M.A.R.T. goals and relate them to our Fitness Boot Camp.
So over the next several weeks you will learn not only how you can begin to set S.M.A.R.T. goals, but also start to lose weight and get in shape for the Spring.
Until Next Time!

The Benefits of Training In A Fitness Boot Camp, part 1
There are many benefits of training in a Fitness Boot Camp Program…
The most important part… that you’ll get a killer workout where you begin to see faster results than going to a gym.
Seriously.
A properly organized Fitness Boot Camp program should focus on developing your strength and increasing your conditioning.
This is what I mean…
When you signup for a Fitness Boot Camp session, the instructor should take you through a series of exercises that sculpt, tone, and strengthen the muscles by working the larger muscle groups, than going into the smaller muscle groups. By following this procedure, boot campers should be able to go through the strengthening exercises with enough energy to move on to the next muscle group.
This is what we mean.
Working larger muscle groups will actually help you go through a VERY difficult exercise because you are using more muscles to support and continue your routine. You will also get slightly less fatigued to move on to the next one. From there, you should move down to smaller muscle groups because your body is already fatigued, but the smaller muscles can work just a bit more now because you haven’t been using them as much.
When you do this… you bound to see great results and begin to have more confidence yourself.
Next time we’ll talk about Conditioning exercises for Fitness Boot Camps.
