City of Westminster
My architectural drawings were finished last week and I submitted them to the City of Westminster yesterday, after getting them stamped and signed on Monday. I had to get them expedited, so I can get rolling. Bob, my architect, gave me some referrals to do sub-contracting work for the plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. I called them yesterday, and they were all very helpful and willing to do the work. The plumber, Carl, had already spoken with Bob and is aware of the project, which shouldn’t be too tough to finish. I’m also going to Niwot tomorrow to drop off some plans to the electrician, so he can get an idea of the project. I’m really getting excited!
Also this week I’ve been submitting Press Releases and Articles to different websites to promote my business and Grand Opening… which by the way is going to be Saturday, July 19th, 2008 at 11:00am MST. I’m hoping this will help draw traffic to my website and increase my SEO - which probably won’t be much, but I’m working on it.
I think the next thing I gotta work on are a couple more of press releases - one for Karate Pump and the other for my Grand Opening. Then I’m gonna send out a huge email blast to friends and see if I can get a bunch of people to show up to the Grand Opening Day. If you’re reading this, I’m sure you’ll be notified shortly. ;-
